I like the stuff used in the process of painting: the smell of fresh oil-colours and turpentine, the new tight canvas with first sketches, the unfinished pictures where one can guess and feature all imaginable ideas. This actually is always more precious to me than a very definite completeness, which you will never find in the real life.  

It is difficult to analyse how the ideas are born in ones mind, the same as it is not possible to know why this or that thought has suddenly reached the mind. There are certain relationships between the current state of soul, the character, the views, temperament, intellect level, emotional perceptibility of surrounding world and the things that appear on the canvas.

The joy will settle things however the sorrow produces the arrogance, as the Holy Scripture says. I did have many opportunities to see how true this saying was. It really has a deep sense. Happy state of mind and soul attracts more colours to our creative work thus enabling us to convey the whole beauty and harmony of the surrounding world.
